The crew at The Foundry has been taking leaps and bounds in construction and planning, crafting the perfect space one day at a time - and we are overjoyed to see the light at the end of the tunnel. With lights in mind, we couldn't help but share one of our most recent additions to the space.
A integral part of the dining experience is the lighting itself - and it can make or break a dining experience. Too much light, and you have ruined the intimacy of the night. Too little light and you're pulling out your phone trying to read the menu. Coming between those two levels of light allows for us to strike the perfect balance of functionality and ambience.
The lights we chose were picked not only with purpose, but with character, in mind. Keeping with the industrial brushed steel, we chose these to 3 styles of lights from Lowes, Wayfair, & Cardello Electric, to reflect the Modern American Kitchen vibe.
In addition to the lights above, the Edison bulbs give a nice, soft, vintage feel to the room, and fit perfectly into the look we are trying to achieve.
There is a genuine effort in every piece that goes into The Foundry, because what we are trying to aim for is a parallel: for the aesthetic experience to match the dining experience. As in, really, really ridiculously good vibe = really, really ridiculously good cooking.
